Island Queen Wedding [Parry Sound]

The day started at Emma & Garet’s house with getting ready photos and some quiet moments before the celebrations began. One thing I absolutely loved during this intimate Parry Sound wedding was that Emma chose to do a first look with her bridesmaids before seeing Garet and their reactions were pure gold.

Once everyone was ready, Emma met Garet down by the water for their first look together, where they also read their private vows. It was such a beautiful and emotional moment to document as a Muskoka and Parry Sound wedding photographer. The rest of the bridal party joined us shortly after for waterfront wedding portraits along Georgian Bay.

Afterwards, everyone gathered aboard Parry Sound’s iconic tour boat, the Island Queen. I had actually never been aboard the Island Queen before, so I was extra excited that my first experience on it was while capturing such a fun and unique Ontario wedding.

The ceremony took place on the top level of the boat, surrounded by sunshine and stunning views of Georgian Bay. It truly felt like the perfect Northern Ontario wedding day. Cocktail hour continued on the water until it was finally time to dock, and everyone then headed over to the Stockey Centre for the reception. The entire evening was filled with good vibes, laughter, and so many genuine moments shared with friends and family.
